Jacques Blondeel Club Award

Jacques Blondeel was for 30 years president of Jeugd Gentson basketballclub in Ghent and one of the founding fathers of youth basketball tournaments in Belgium.

The JB Club Award is a classification for clubs. How does it work? Whenever a team of a club participates in a Flanders Basketball Events tournament, they receive 10 points. When the team finishes 1st. in the tournament the club receives 5 points, when they finish 2nd. 3 points and when they finish 3rd. 2 points. The first three clubs in the ranking at the end of the season will receive a trophy. Organising clubs get no points for participating their own tournaments
