Jacques Blondeel Club Award

Jacques Blondeel was for 30 years president of Jeugd Gentson basketballclub in Ghent and one of the founding fathers of youth basketball tournaments in Belgium.

The JB Club Award is a classification for clubs. How does it work? Whenever a team of a club participates in a Flanders Basketball Events tournament, they receive 10 points. When the team finishes 1st. in the tournament the club receives 5 points, whent they finish 2nd. 3 points and when they finish 3rd. 2 points. The club that has the most points at the end of the season (organising clubs included) receives the fantastic and huge cup Jacques Blondeel and can keep it for one year. The first three clubs in the ranking (organising clubs excluded) will receive a smaller trophy they can keep)
